Race to Ombria Resort 2025
Following the 8 "single" competitions on the Ballesteros course, a merit order will be established.
To be eligible for the final ranking, participants must have played in at least 4 of these competitions. The winners in gross and net categories will win a magnificent stay.

Official Rules
- Maximum of 30 participants
- Format : single, stableford
- Open to both Men and Women
- Handicap limit : 36
- The best 4 scores will be retained
- Participation in at least 4 tournaments is required to be listed in the final ranking
- Tee times between 07:15 and 09:00
- Races are open exclusively to Members of GC Crans-sur-Sierre
- At the end of the 8 "single" competitions on the Severiano Ballesteros course, a merit order will be established. The winners in Gross & Net will fly away for this magnificent stay!
Tiebreaker Rules
In case of a tie based on the total of the four best scores per category (Gross/Net) with the same total number of Races played, the tiebreaker will be determined as follows :
- If two or more players have the same number of Races played, the player with the highest total cumulative score will be considered the winner.
- If the players have the same number of Races played and the same total cumulative score, the best score from an individual Race will be used to break the tie.
- If the tie persists after the first two criteria, the tied players will compete in an 18-hole match play according to category (Gross scratch, Net with handicap strokes).
In case of a tie based on the total of the four best scores per category (Gross/Net) without the same total number of Races played, the tiebreaker will be determined as follows :
- If two or more players have not played the same number of Races, the best individual score will be used to break the tie.
- If the tie remains unresolved after the first criterion, the tied players will compete in an 18-hole match play according to category (Gross scratch, Net with handicap strokes).
Categories
- Women from 0 to 15.4, blue tees (red tees allowed from age 65, stroke adjustment)
- Women from 15.5 to 36, red tees
- Men from 0 to 9.4, white tees (yellow tees allowed from age 65, stroke adjustment)
- Men from 9.5 to 36, yellow tees (blue tees allowed from age 65, stroke adjustment)
